As I've helped hundreds of people plan for retirement and their goals later in life, some recurring themes have stood out among them. Perhaps the most common and unsurprising of those is that they wish they started planning sooner. This desire to plan for a better future now is what drives me to support the next generation to make better decisions, and cut through the noise of the bad financial advice.
My Story
Growing up, I always knew I wanted to chase financial independence. This set me off on a commitment to learn more about personal finance, investing, and how our perceptions and behaviors around money drive many of our decisions. The more I learned, the more I enjoyed sharing what I know to help those around me. My goal quickly shifted from chasing financial freedom for myself, to helping and supporting other people achieve their goals.
My Mission
Stacked's mission is clear: Provide financial insights and education that allows people to live their best life. I've seen first hand the many factors that have prevented people from receiving good advice. From honest misunderstanding, to misinformation spread on social media, to financial advisors misleading for the sake of making more money. Stacked is an outlet to share what I know and to encourage people to have clarity in how their finances work for them.
